It is a ordinary misconception that while 'starting' a hookah, on should 'hit it hard.' This is only wrong. Veteran hookah smokers know that the most excellent way is slow.
1. When the coals are primary practical to the bowl, let them sizzle for at smallest amount ten seconds. Some feel that this causes loss of tobacco, but in realism it starts the process. Otherwise, you are simply inhaling coal air.
2. After waiting a small number of seconds, take slow, even, and deep breaths. This allows the top layer of tobacco to end 'seasoning' or, starting.
3. Carry on this until favored smoke steadiness/amount is achieved.
4. Enjoy!
Tips
* Placing coals closer to the midpoint while the theater your preliminary drags can make it easier to start, but must be monitored. This also increases the probability of the tobacco ahead of time burning down the center.
* Rotate coals regularly to maintain an even burn.
* If smoke gets stale, blow quietly and before extended into the hose. This clears the bowl, but take care not to blow too extended or hard, as water will go into the stem and flood your bowl.
* If smoke becomes boiling hot or 'harsh,' just but cautiously take away the bowl by its base and blow into it, thus payment the bowl.
