When compared with the more coveted hookahs on the market, the Persian pipe is hard to come by. And, in addition to Persian hookahs being quite a rare find, their bases notably distinguish themselves with uncommon variety. The Persian pipe’s stem and base might be manufactured from brass, steel, and even wood. Interestingly, wood was material very frequently used centuries ago in hookah manufacturing, but is rarely seen in today’s product.

It’s worth noting, too, that Persian hookahs often feature in their overall design the Tombak bowl, which is not appropriate for use with the prevailing tobacco products in today’s marketplace.
